Spanish Caceres Patio Risers
Posted by William Buyok on
Using decorative tiles as risers in an outdoor patio adds subtle detail without taking away from the beautiful surroundings. Three different Spanish Caceres tiles are used to create the look in the patio risers shown here. Use of 3x6 for the top row, 6x6 for the middle row, and dots for the bottom row draws attention to the antiqued Talavera on the patio floor.

Olive Beige Deco tiles are grouped together amidst the Olive Beige Field tiles in this kitchen backsplash. Small decorative tiles can often be grouped together, as shown here, to create a focal point tile medallion and to help carry the "theme" using an alternate pattern.

Olive Tile Design Lends Rustic, Tuscan Charm to Backsplash
Posted by William Buyok on
The Olive Beige Field and Olive Beige Deco tiles used in this kitchen backsplash are a wonderful complement to the maple cabinetry and stainless steel appliances. A square pattern with the decorative tiles on a diagonal really makes the deco tiles pop, while the alternating row pattern provides visual interest. Rustic tiles with rough edges, such as these, look great with wider grout lines and they help to provide a contrast to the smooth, polished granite countertop.
